As health officials brace for a possible global pandemic, a rapidly spreading outbreak of coronavirus (COVD-19) is hitting the world, geographically speaking, where it hurts most. As the number of cases killed more than 3000, also more than 88,000 global cases worldwide continue to climb, fears over the outbreak have already prompted the mass cancellation of festivals, fairs and sporting events across Asia, and events in Europe are also being called into question.
Mongolia’s largest international construction, road, renewable energy, and heavy industry expo was scheduled to take place the 02 – 04 on April at the Buyant-Ukhaa Sport’s Palace. It has been postponed temporarily. “We have made this decision based on advice and information from government and local authorities,” and consultation with our partners, venue and local team. The safety of exhibitors and visitors is our first priority.
All cultural events, programs, and openings have been rescheduled or outright canceled due to what the WHO has deemed a “global emergency.”
We will keep you fully informed of any further developments. We would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your ongoing support and understanding which has been invaluable.
